Once you dip your toes into Power BI, and start creating reports, you have become a developer. You may not think of yourself as one, but you have to think like one. As you develop your data model, there are lots of subtleties to consider. Today, I want to share an infographic that will give you some guidance as to what elements in your model you want to hide. Hiding may seem counter-intuitive, but you are not hiding them from yourself, but from your report users. Believe me, you are doing your users a favor when you simplify your model by hiding measures, tables, and fields that are not directly useful to them.
